Parking Avenida Libertad wins ASCER Award 2011

Clavel Arquitectos has picked up the first ASCER prize in Castellón, in the interior design category, for its Parking Avenida Libertad project. The jury highlighted:

the precise use of circular ceramic mosaic in the project. The freshness with which it has been used makes this project an intelligent and valuable example of the possibilities of this our usual material. Adapted to a sinuous geometry, the ceramic coating accompanies the visitor of the parking lot at the beginning of this entrance ritual, and contributes kindness to the nudity of the following concrete walls tinted with colored light.

Clavel Arquitectos ha recogido hoy en Castellón el primer premio ASCER, en la categoría de interiorismo, por su proyecto Parking Avenida Libertad. El jurado ha destacado del proyecto:

"la utilización precisa del mosaico cerámico circular. La frescura con la que se ha empleado, hacen de este proyecto un ejemplo inteligente y valioso de las posibilidades de este nuestro material de siempre. Adaptado a un geometría sinuosa, el revestimiento cerámico acompaña al visitante del parking al comienzo de este ritual de ingreso, y aporta amabilidad ante la desnudez de los siguientes muros de hormigón tintados de luz de color".
